Yoga therapy

What is Yoga Therapy?
Yoga therapy is a slow returning.
A returning to breath.
To sensation.
To the quiet intelligence of the body.
It is not a class to keep up with, but a therapeutic process shaped around you — your history, your nervous system, your capacity, your hopes. Through gentle movement, steady breath, and mindful awareness, we begin to create safety from the inside out.
The body learns that it does not have to brace.
The breath remembers it can soften.
The ground feels steady again.
This work is collaborative, trauma-aware, and paced with care. It honours that our bodies hold experience — and that healing is not about fixing, but about reconnecting.

I work in around  Wiltshire and Berkshire and online.

Our unique approach to wellbeing

My work is rooted where body meets earth and mind meets breath. Shaped by years in mental health practice and held by yoga as a lifeline, I offer steady, trauma-sensitive support for tender and resilient nervous systems alike. This is a space to land, to regulate, and to remember your own strength.

Who benefits most?

Anyone can benefit from Yoga Therapy, experiencing profound positive changes.

The Evidence
Alongside ancient roots, there is growing modern research showing that yoga-based therapeutic approaches can:
🌿 Calm the stress response and support nervous system regulation
🌊 Reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression when used alongside other care. 🤍 Support trauma recovery by gently restoring body awareness. 🌙 Improve sleep and reduce persistent fatigue
🌾 Ease chronic pain, particularly lower back and tension-related pain
🌼 Improve overall wellbeing for those living with long-term conditions.

Mindfulness strengthens awareness, emotional balance, and nervous system regulation.

Experience the change
